CUSTOMER SERVICE/SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service/Sales Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service and Sales Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, provide exceptional customer support and drive sales of travel products and services. The role involves handling inquiries, promoting travel packages and ensuring a seamless client experience from inquiry to post-travel follow-up.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, social media, and in person.
Provide accurate information on travel services, visa requirements, flight schedules, hotel bookings, and tour options.
Handle client complaints or issues effectively, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge to deliver personalized travel recommendations.
Promote and sell the company’s travel product, tours, and other products to new and existing clients.
Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings through proactive sales techniques.
Prepare and send quotations, itineraries, and travel proposals tailored to client needs.
Process payments, issue receipts, and confirm bookings with suppliers.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with individual and corporate clients.
Follow up with clients after trips to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling travel products.
Maintain accurate client records and booking documentation in the CRM or company database.
Prepare daily and weekly sales reports.
Collaborate with fulfilment, finance and client relations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Marketing or any related field.
Requirements:
- Proven customer service experience in a similar role, preferably within the travel industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: N150,000
